Martin Luther King, Jr. Day: County closures, garbage & recycling schedule

County Offices:

All County Offices and Libraries will be closed on Monday, January 19, 2026, in observance of the Martin Luther King, Jr. Day holiday. The Martin County Utilities Customer Service Office will also be closed on Monday, January 19. Customer service calls will be forwarded to the answering service. Additionally, the Utilities Customer Service Office will close early, at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 21, 2026.

Garbage & Recycling:

Garbage and recycling collection will operate on the regular schedule on Monday, January 19.

MARTY Public Transit:

MARTY, Martin County's public transit service, will operate normal business hours on Monday, January 19.
