Step into the role of an archaeologist at our exciting event! Designed for children ages 8 to 13, this hands-on activity invites participants to explore a sandy dig site where artifacts are waiting to be discovered. Using real-life techniques such as careful digging, sifting, and brushing, kids will uncover hidden treasures while learning how archaeologists study clues from the past to tell stories about ancient life.

Held outdoors in our library pavilion, this interactive experience encourages curiosity, patience, and a love of discovery. Participants will not only enjoy the thrill of unearthing artifats, but also gain a deeper appreciation for history, science, and storytelling.
