Beginner Adult Ukulele Series

Join the fun! This is a beginning 6-week ukulele course for adults. Please register for each session. Bring your own ukulele (no baritone ukes).

This is a Beginner 6-week course to playing the ukulele, for adults. We will meet for 1-hour lessons, once a week. Registration is required. Students will need their own soprano, concert, or tenor-sized ukulele (These lessons will not include the baritone-sized ukulele).

Brief history of and types of ukuleleCare and tuning of the ukuleleBasic strum patternsHow to keep a steady rhythmThree basic chordsHear and anticipate chord changes against a melodyTwo or three basic songs
