Memorial Day Notice:
Waste Management services will be closed on Monday, May 27, in observance of the Memorial Day holiday. There will be no trash, recycling or vegetative debris pickup on Monday, May 27. The scheduled pickups will fall one day behind for the remainder of the week. For example, if you were scheduled for a regular pickup on Monday, May 27, then it will be picked up on Tuesday, May 28.
Martin County Utilities and Solid Waste has a contract with Waste Management for residential trash collection. Residents who live in the unincorporated areas of Martin County have two (2) garbage collection days. Your recycling day will also be on one of these two (2) scheduled days. To determine the collection schedule for your neighborhood, please select the "Collection Schedule Map" button.
If your normal collection day falls on a weekday holiday, residential collection will be delayed one (1) day for the remainder of the week. If a holiday falls on a Saturday or Sunday, there will be NO delays.

For single-family homes, bulk trash includes non-vegetative items that can’t be containerized, bagged or bundled. Examples of bulk trash include:
- Broken or discarded refrigerators
- Bath tubs
- Water heaters
- Household goods and furniture
All bulk trash should be placed curbside on your regularly scheduled garbage collection day. To prevent property damage or safety issues, do not place bulk trash under power lines, next to mail boxes or other structures. Bulk trash not collected will be “tagged” with an information card notifying you that it has already been scheduled for pickup.
All bulk trash will be collected within seven (7) days of your regularly scheduled collection day. Bulk trash does not include cars, boats or engines. These items must be disposed of through other methods. Bulk trash pickup does not include contractor-generated waste. Contractors must dispose of any waste that they generate.
Call Waste Management to schedule a bulk waste pickup at (772) 546-7700.
