In April, Martin County hosts its annual tire drive to promote tire recycling and help reduce mosquito breeding sites during the dry season.

WHY RECYCLE TIRES?

Mosquitoes can lay hundreds of eggs in a single discarded tire. Recycling your tires with Mosquito Control reduces mosquito breeding sites and is a FREE service for residents! 

HOW to PARTICIPATE

Each Martin County household can recycle up to ten (10) passenger vehicle tires. Please note that commercial or tractor tires will not be accepted. Mosquito Control staff will be available to assist on-site. 

Recycle your tires for free at the following locations and times:
