Timer Powers Park, located at 14100 SW Citrus Boulevard in Indiantown, offers many amenities, including a public boat ramp, fishing pier, numerous pavilions available for rent, playground, open space, and Martin County’s only public equestrian arena.

This park is the perfect location to host special events and equestrian activities, as there are many areas of the park that offer a beautiful, natural, and unique backdrop and setting.

Covered Equestrian / Multi-use Arena

The equestrian and live animal arena is available for public use for Open Ride except during special events. To view availability please visit: 

Open Ride

Martin County offers Open Ride in the arena for the public to ride - 7 days a week from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m., unless the arena is previously reserved for an event. Riders must have proof of their horse’s current negative Coggins test and provide it upon request by staff or park users.

Requesting Use for Special Event

Martin County’s only public equestrian arena is also a state-of-the-art covered multi-use arena that is available to reserve for special events with equestrian, rodeo, and live animal activities. This venue is an ideal location for horse shows and rodeos, and other livestock activities. Use of the arena at Timer Powers Park for a Special Event requires a permit.

  • 18,000 sq ft arena with sand and synthetic mix
  • No Lighting
  • *Same restrooms as for covered arena

Rules and Regulations

  • Hours are 9am-10pm.
  • Riders must have proof of their horse’s current negative Coggins test and provide it upon request by staff or park users.
  • Riders 16 years old and under are required to wear an approved safety helmet (regardless of riding style) per “Nicole’s Law” 773.06fs and must be accompanied by an adult, unless practicing for or competing or performing in shows or events including but not limited to rodeos, where helmets are not historically a part of the show or event.
  • Horses and Livestock must be attended at all times. Grazing is prohibited. 
  • Riders are prohibited from riding in a way that will harm themselves, the horses or others; racing is prohibited.
  • The use of drugs on this site is prohibited
  • The use of alcoholic beverages on this site is prohibited unless specifically authorized as part of a permitted special event and in compliance with all applicable permit and legal requirements.
  • Horses are not to be tied to trees, fences, equipment, etc.
  • All dogs must be secured on a leash, unless practicing for or competing or performing in shows or events including but not limited to dog agility shows, where leashes are not historically a part of the show or event.
  • Paid lessons or training for a fee is prohibited except during permitted shows or clinics.
  • Riders are prohibited from riding in other areas of the park except designated riding arenas.
