Summer Reading Program 2022
Participate in Summer Reading May 28 – August 9!
Book Lists:
The Florida Association for Media In Education provides Sunshine State Young Readers Award (SSYRA) lists for:
Kids (babies – 5th grade):
- 3 books read = 1st FREE book prize
- 6 books read = 2nd FREE book prize
- 9 books read = 3rd FREE book prize
- 10 books read = FREE Sailfish Splash Waterpark Pass, while supplies last!
Record books read using a paper log provided or by using the Beanstack Tracker app. A free book prize will be earned for every 3 books read (up to a maximum of 9 books read). When you have read 10 books, you will receive a Sailfish Splash Waterpark Pass as the final prize!

Teens (grades 6-12):
- Each Book Review = 1 hour of volunteer time + entry into $50 Amazon gift card raffle.
Submit a book review online by going to mcls.beanstack.org or via the Beanstack Tracker mobile app. A badge will be earned for each book review submitted. Each badge will count as 1 hour of volunteer time and an entry into the $50 Amazon gift card raffle. Teens can submit up to 50 book reviews! Raffle will be drawn after August 10.

Adults:
Starting May 28, pick up your passport or sign-up on mcls.beanstack.org. Complete 3 challenges to earn a button, 6 challenges for an exclusive limited edition bookmark and 9 or more challenges to be entered into the Grand Prize drawing for $100 Barnes & Noble Gift certificate, beach chairs and umbrella for a day at the Seaside Café and a hand-quilted Laurel Burch mermaid wall hanging.
