Using the Sewing Machine

MCLS has sewing machines to use at the library! They are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

When you visit the library, see the Information Desk. We will use your library card to check-out the sewing machine accessories and supplies. The library has fabric shears, thread, mats, and some fabric scraps. You're also welcome to bring your own supplies!

Please note that all sewing machine users must first sign a Library Liability Waiver. Users under 18 must have a parent or legal guardian's signature.

The Brother SE400 offers the simplicity and ease appropriate for beginners and more advanced features for experienced sewists to explore, including an embroidery attachment.
