New Years Day holiday: County closures, garbage & recycling schedule

County Offices & Libraries:

All county offices and libraries will be closed on Thursday, January 1, in observance of New Year’s Day. The Hobe Sound Public Library and the Robert Morgade Library will close at 5:30 p.m. instead of 8:00 p.m. on New Year's Eve.

Garbage & Recycling Collection:

Garbage and recycling collection will not operate on Thursday, January 1. Customers with regular service days scheduled between Thursday, January 1 and Friday, January 2, will be delayed by one day.

MARTY Public Transit:

MARTY, Martin County’s public transit service will not operate on Thursday, January 1, and will resume normal service on Friday, January 2.
