Homework Helper Program
The Martin County Library System has a Homework Helper program for students in grades K–12. You can get help with math, reading, and English homework from October through April. Each student meets one-on-one with a helper once a week for a month. Be sure to bring your homework to each meeting.
Who are the Homework Helpers?
Homework Helpers are volunteers who want to help kids do well in school and give back to the community. All helpers have passed a background check.

How do I request an appointment?
You can sign up for Homework Help on the Library Event Calendar. Type “Homework” in the search box and choose your library location to find sessions near you.
If you can’t make it to a session, please call or email the library where you signed up, so the helper knows you won’t be there.
Do I need a Martin County library card?
You don’t need a library card to join Homework Help. But you might need one to use some online resources from home. Don’t have a card yet? You can get one by visiting any library or apply for a card online.
