What is the Homework Helper program?
The Martin County Library System offers 45-minute Homework Help appointments series to help students K-12 with math, reading and English homework. The program is available from October to May.
Who are the Homework Helpers?
Many of the volunteers are former teachers, engineers, and business professionals who want to make a difference in a child’s academic success. All volunteers are background checked.
How do I request an appointment?
To request a one-on-one (1:1) Homework Help appointment series or to view the schedule, select "Register for Homework Help" to visit the Martin County Library event calendar for Homework Help appointment times and locations.
Do I need a Martin County library card?
While you don’t need a library card to request a one-on-one (1:1) Homework Help appointment, you might need one to access some of the Library’s online databases from home. Need a library card? Visit any of our branches or apply for one online.
