About the Community Redevelopment Agency
About
The mission of the Martin County Community Redevelopment Agency is “To promote a distinctive community identity and vibrant local economy through inclusive community engagement.” The Martin County Board of County Commissioners, as the governing body, sits as the Community Redevelopment Agency.
The Martin County Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA) was established to carry out redevelopment and revitalization within seven designated communities with the aid of Community Redevelopment Area Plans:
- Golden Gate Community Redevelopment Area Plan
- Hobe Sound Community Redevelopment Area Plan
- Indiantown Community Redevelopment Area Plan
- Jensen Beach Community Redevelopment Area Plan
- Old Palm City Community Redevelopment Area Plan
- Port Salerno Community Redevelopment Area Plan
- Rio Community Redevelopment Area Plan
For more information about each, please visit the relevant Community Redevelopment Area Plan page. Each of the Martin County community redevelopment areas has its own Neighborhood Advisory Committee (NAC). NAC members provide advice and recommendations to the Community Redevelopment Agency regarding the implementation of projects adopted within the Community Redevelopment Plans.
