Golden Gate Community Redevelopment Area

Golden Gate -  Golden Gate Building: Named to the National Registry for Historical Places

The community vision for the compact and diverse Golden Gate Community is to encourage economic and cultural growth. The backbone to this vision is the provision of infrastructure improvements to the stormwater management and central sewer systems. Over $2 million has already been invested through grants and local CRA Funds. Septic to Sewer conversion has been identified by the County as a priority concern.

The Golden Gate Neighborhood Advisory Committee (NAC) meets regularly at the Cassidy Center on Fairmont Street and provides advice and recommendations to the Community Redevelopment Agency regarding the implementation of projects adopted within the Golden Gate Community Redevelopment Plan.
