A Selection Committee will meet to discuss presentations delivered by the shortlisted firms in response to the Request for Qualifications (R F Q 2026-3765), Aviation Planning & Engineering Services (Re-bid). The Committee will meet for approximately two hours in the BOCC Workshop Room on the 4th floor of the Martin County Administration Center, located at 2401 SE Monterey Road, Stuart, Florida.

Martin County's Children's Librarians love to read, but they also love to sing and dance! Join us for a story and early literacy activities.
According to Every Child Ready to Read @ Your Library, singing, talking, and playing are also important for developing early literacy skills. This interactive event may use bubbles, scarves, hand-held instruments or shaker eggs, loud music, and more. All adults are encouraged to participate with their children in this fun early literacy activity. Families are welcome!
Drop-In American Mahjong
An open game play for players of all levels with an understanding of the basics.
The National Mahjong League current card and rules will be used for a 3- to 4-handed play. Bring a current card and set if you have one.

Want to learn how to use our sewing machine for embroidery? Join us for this one-on-one tutorial where you'll get hands-on experience learning the basics of the Brother SE400 embroidery functions.
You'll get hands-on experience learning the basics, including how to thread the machine, select different stitch types, and change different feet on the machine.

Trivia Night
Join us for a fun-filled evening where you can put your knowledge to the test.
There will be several rounds of questions as well as a half-time challenge and a final trivia question. Teams can be no larger than 5 members.
Baby Cafe
The Baby Café is a place for moms and pregnant women to receive one-on-one as well as peer-to-peer support during their breastfeeding journey. A lactation consultant is available as well.
Weekly Cribbage Game
Join us for a weekly cribbage game at the library. Hearts and Spades card games are also available to play based on attendance. All levels welcome. No registration required.
Virtual Author Talk with Dr. Vivienne Ming
Dr. Ming discusses the response to AI from individuals, companies, and societies. She explores being human in an increasingly automated world. She examines the next steps in this new world.
Join us for live virtual author talks each month featuring a one-hour interview with a bestselling author and a professional moderator. Questions are a mixture of those prepared by the moderator and those submitted by participants prior to and during the event. All virtual events are available for replay.

Conversational English Group

Collaborate with other learners and build English conversational skills in an accepting environment! Recommended for individuals at an advanced-beginner level and higher.
Increase ability and comfort to speak and understand conversational English! Choose topics to discuss such as current events, personal history, challenging experiences, hobbies, and many more. This is not an instructional event, but a space for students to gather and practice their English skills.
Cultural Exchange Class
Join us for a chance to meet people from different cultural backgrounds! All backgrounds and languages are welcome! No registration required.
We will explore aspects of varying cultures, including art, music, food, entertainment, literature, holidays, proverbs and sayings, nature, and more! We will also focus on languages, primarily Spanish, and encourage pairing of students who want to learn each other's language. Join us to share your culture and learn about others!
