County Health Care Review Board
The Board shall recommend to the Board of County Commissioners those indigent individuals whose hospitalization costs shall be paid from the hospitalization fund.
Code Enforcement Magistrate Hearing
This meeting is televised live on MCTV Channel 20 (Comcast), on Channel 99 (U-verse), and online at www.martin.fl.us/watch-mctv.
The Code Enforcement Division receives complaints from a variety of sources including citizens, businesses, staff members, and outside agencies. Staff inspects and investigates complaints to see if violation of County Code exists then begin taking appropriate steps to achieve compliance. These steps can be either an informal and/or formal process. Cases that are not voluntarily brought into compliance may be presented to a Special Magistrate at a formal public hearing.

Value Adjustment Board Meeting Organizational Meeting
The Board shall have the authority to meet for the following purposes: Hearing petitions relating to assessments filed pursuant to Section 194.011(3), Fla. Stat. Hearing complaints relating to homestead exemptions as provided for under Section 196.151, Fla. Stat. Hearing appeals from exemptions denied, or disputes arising from exemptions granted, upon the filing of exemption applications under Section 196.011, Fla. Stat. Hearing appeals concerning ad valorem tax deferrals, classifications. Hearing good cause hearings pursuant to the provisions of the Florida Administrative Code 12D-10.003(8). Ex Parte Contacts. For those actions of the Board which are quasi-judicial in nature, to ensure that the Board review process shall occur in an atmosphere free of bias or pressure, contacts by anyone outside of a Board meeting to members of the Board are prohibited. If a Board member shall receive any written, oral, graphic, or communication of any kind or nature which may directly or indirectly influence the disposition of a quasi-judicial proceeding of the Board, such ex parte communication shall be forwarded to the Clerk of the Board to be included in the record of the Board proceedings.
The primary purpose of this meeting is to adopt new procedures and confirm equipment adequacy.
Drug and Alcohol Abuse Awareness Committee Meeting
The Drug and Alcohol Abuse Awareness Committee shall serve as an advisory committee to the Board of County Commissioners on issues relating to adult and youth substance and alcohol abuse in Martin County. The Committee will make recommendations on programs and services that impact the community.

According to Every Child Ready to Read @ Your Library, singing, talking, and playing are also important for developing early literacy skills. This interactive event may use bubbles, scarves, hand-held instruments or shaker eggs, loud music, and more. All adults are encouraged to participate with their children in this fun early literacy activity. Families are welcome!

Join this informal group to stitch, knit, crochet, or craft items to be donated to local or national programs.
Bring your ideas, enthusiasm, and skills or learn new ones. We have supplies, notions, and four sewing machines. We have projects for hand-stitching, machine-sewing, and no-sewing! We're making pillowcases for children, market totes, fidget/sensory quilts, lap quilts, bibs, bunnies and teddy bears. Adults and teens welcome.
