Martin County's Children's Librarians love to read, but they also love to sing and dance! Join us for a story and early literacy activities.

According to Every Child Ready to Read @ Your Library, singing, talking, and playing are also important for developing early literacy skills. This interactive event may use bubbles, scarves, hand-held instruments or shaker eggs, loud music, and more. All adults are encouraged to participate with their children in this fun early literacy activity. Families are welcome!

A Selection Committee will meet to discuss submittals received in response to a Request for Proposals (RFP) for Public Transportation Planning Services. The Committee will meet for approximately 1 hour at the Martin County Administrative Center, 4th Floor Workshop Room, 2401 SE Monterey Road, Stuart, Florida. 

Collaborate with other learners and build English conversational skills in an accepting environment! Recommended for individuals at an advanced-beginner level and higher.

Increase ability and comfort to speak and understand conversational English! Choose topics to discuss such as current events, personal history, challenging experiences, hobbies, and many more. This is not an instructional event, but a space for students to gather and practice their English skills. 

An open game play for players of all levels with an understanding of the basics.

The National Mahjong League current card and rules will be used for a 3- to 4-handed play. Bring a current card and set if you have one.

Learn how to get started using your iPhone! Topics include settings, contacts, browsing the web and more - with hands-on activities and visual guides.

1:1 Homework Help with Math through Algebra 1. Registration required.

Registration is for a 1-hour session on December 2, 9, and 16. Registration required. You may find your Homework Helper at the "Homework Helper Meetup location" area designated at each branch.

If you are a teen who loves gaming, drop by the Exploration Lab for a fun gaming night with the Nintendo Switch and board games.

Interested in using the Glowforge, a 3D laser engraver? Join us for this 60-minute introductory lesson.

We'll cover the basics like what materials to use, how to make (or buy!) a digital file, and how to safely operate the machine. All supplies and materials are provided!

Join the fun! This is a beginning 6-week ukulele course for adults. Please register for each session. Bring your own ukulele (no baritone ukes).

This is a Beginner 6-week course to playing the ukulele, for adults. We will meet for 1-hour lessons, once a week. Registration is required. Students will need their own soprano, concert, or tenor-sized ukulele (These lessons will not include the baritone-sized ukulele).

Students will learn:

The Baby Café is a place for moms and pregnant women to receive one-on-one as well as peer-to-peer support during their breastfeeding journey. A lactation consultant is available as well.
