Mission

To Protect Lives, Property and the Environment with Safety, Integrity, and Excellence.

About

Martin County Fire Rescue serves and protects 528 square miles of a mix of suburban, agricultural/rural lands, and waterfront with a population of approximately 140,000. During the winter season (November through April), Martin County's population can swell to nearly 200,000.

Martin County Fire Rescue Administration is located at the Martin County Public Safety Building, a joint effort involving both Fire Rescue and the Martin County Sheriff's Office. The two-story building is a hurricane-hardened command center for emergency operations and centered within its walls is the Emergency Operations Center.

Here, during hurricanes, floods, or other natural or man made disasters, Martin County's government officials can safely operate the County functions by interacting with local and outside private and government agencies through state-of-the-art communications technology.
