Stuff the Bus Toy Drive
MARTY is hosting its 3rd Annual Stuff the Bus toy drive for Toys for Tots to support the United Way Holiday Project. Now through December 10, you can drop off your new, unwrapped toy(s) in the donation box located in the Administration Building lobby located at 2401 SE Monterey Road. In addition, MARTY will be at the Stuart Walmart, located at 4001 SE Federal Highway, on Tuesday, December 3, from 1-5 p.m. and Friday, December 6, from 9 a.m.-1 p.m.
Call for Artists: Martin County Centennial Murals at ArtsFest 2025
Martin County’s Art in Public Places Program and MartinArts invites visual artists residing in Martin County to participate in a live mural painting experience at ArtsFest 2025! Join us on February 8 & 9, 2025, at Memorial Park in Downtown Stuart, as we celebrate Martin County’s centennial with a unique theme: A Vision of Martin County 100 Years from Now.
Beach Fire Permits
Beach fire permits are now available! Beach fires are permitted from November-February (non-turtle nesting season), from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. with a permit (in designated fire pits only) at Stuart Beach.
Season’s Readings
Sponsored by the Friends of the Martin County Library System, Inc., library staff and community members provide over 400 books to children ages 3 to 5 years old enrolled in Martin County programs with the Early Learning Coalition. Winter Reading Challenge
The Martin County Library System, with support from the Friends of the Martin County Library System, Inc. is proud to partner with Culver’s in presenting the annual Winter Reading Challenge, beginning November 23, 2024, and running through January 5, 2025. This collaboration offers prizes to children as an incentive for reading during their winter breaks from school.
