The Airport Layout Plan (ALP) is an important component of the Airport Master Plan and will reflect the actual and/or planned modifications to the Airport.  FAA approval of the ALP indicates that the existing facilities and proposed development depicted on the ALP conforms to the FAA airport design standards and that the FAA finds the proposed development to be safe and efficient.

In order to encourage and ensure the provision of adequate services and facilities, the economic health of, and the orderly development of aviation and related Aeronautical Activities at the Martin County Airport, the County has established these Minimum Standards and Requirements.

All persons within secured areas are required to have a current Witham Field badge, unless escorted by an authorized (badged) person. Please call the Martin County Airport to receive a security badge. Appointments are available Monday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.

There is a voluntary nighttime curfew from 11 p.m. to 7 a.m. for all aircraft (all prop aircraft, helicopters, and Stage I, II, and III jet aircraft). The only exceptions to this curfew are Air Ambulances, Rescue Aircraft and United States Government Aircraft, for which there are no curfews.
