Flag Disposal

Martin County residents can now dispose of worn, torn, or tattered U.S. flags at the Martin County Veterans Services office. In partnership with the National Association of Counties, the National Flag Foundation, and the National Sheriff's Association, a flag retirement box has been placed at this location as part of a national campaign to support flag etiquette to ensure a dignified retirement for the U.S. flag.

Flags should be folded before placing them in the box.

Only U.S. flags are accepted.
