Road Opening Permit Application

In order to convert a private road to a County/public road, the roadway must be built to county standards first. Also, in order for a building permit to be issued for the construction of any structure, the lot must directly front on an open road. The Board of County Commissioners may grant a variance that allows building permits on a lot not fronting on an open road as explained in Section 4.843.K.1.c of the Land Development Regulations.
