Environmental Inspection of the Final Landscaping

Prior to issuance of a Certificate of Occupancy for structures associated with commercial, multifamily, or residential subdivision development, a final environmental inspection may be required. This inspection is to validate the status of plantings provided for lakes or landscaping, as certified by a qualified professional.

Five (5) business days prior to requesting this inspection, the Developer needs to provide the Environmental Final Inspection packet.

This packet must contain the following:

• Certification of Completion for Installation of Plant Materials on the Landscape's Architect's letterhead.
• "As-built" landscape plan signed and sealed by the Landscape Architect.
• Costs of Materials and Installation
• Surety (having no expiration date) equal to a minimum of 50% of the total landscape costs.
