Selection Committee Meeting (FINAL) for Utility Rate & Financial Consulting
A Selection Committee will meet to discuss proposals submitted in response to the Request for Proposals (R F P 2026-3791), for Utility Rate & Financial Consulting. The Committee will meet for approximately one hour in the BOCC Commission Chambers on the 1st floor of the Martin County Administration Center, located at 2401 SE Monterey Road, Stuart, Florida 34996.

Get help with referrals for community-based services, transportation assistance, utility bill assistance, and placement on the waiting list for government-funded services
Access Council on Aging programs including Meals on Wheels, Case Management, and The Adult Day Club
Learn about The Brain Matters Research Center and the Kane Primary Care practice, Day Medical
Explore the free support groups and training for caregivers led by the Kane Center social worker
Meet privately in our modern, mobile office for support and guidance to stabilize and/or diffuse crisis situations
Learn about Kane Memberships, Kane Cuisine, and special events and exercise classes held at the Kane Center

Baby Café
A place for moms and pregnant women to receive one-on-one as well as peer-to-peer support during their breastfeeding journey. A lactation consultant is available as well.
Conversational English Group
Grupo de inglés conversacional
Collaborate with other learners and build English conversational skills in an accepting environment! Recommended for individuals at an advanced-beginner level and higher.
Increase ability and comfort to speak and understand conversational English! Choose topics to discuss such as current events, personal history, challenging experiences, hobbies, and many more. This is not an instructional event, but a space for students to gather and practice their English skills.
Drop-in American Mahjong
An open game play for players of all levels with an understanding of the basics.
The National Mahjong League current card and rules will be used for a 3-to-4-handed play. Bring a current card and set if you have one.

If you are a teen who loves gaming, drop by the Exploration Lab for a fun gaming night with the Nintendo Switch and board games.

Cultural Exchange Class
Join us for a chance to meet people from different cultural backgrounds! All backgrounds and languages are welcome! No registration required.
We will explore aspects of varying cultures, including art, music, food, entertainment, literature, holidays, proverbs and sayings, nature, and more! We will also focus on languages, primarily Spanish, and encourage pairing of students who want to learn each other's language. Join us to share your culture and learn about others!
Master Gardener Lecture Series
Backyard Composting
Learn about composting in your own backyard! This is an educational library lecture hosted by the UF/IFAS Extension Florida Master Gardener Martin County program.
Turn kitchen scraps and yard waste into nutrient-rich compost! Learn simple, effective techniques for starting and maintaining a compost system at home. Great for beginners and eco-conscious gardeners looking to reduce waste and improve soil health. If you live within the City of Stuart limits and receive City of Stuart water and trash services, you will receive a free composter. This class is free to attend!
