Martin County's Children's Librarians love to read, but they also love to sing and dance! Join us for a story and early literacy activities.
According to Every Child Ready to Read @ Your Library, singing, talking, and playing are also important for developing early literacy skills. This interactive event may use bubbles, scarves, hand-held instruments or shaker eggs, loud music, and more. All adults are encouraged to participate with their children in this fun early literacy activity. Families are welcome!
Take-and-Make - Watercolor Pencils
Try coloring with watercolor pencils! Whether using them dry and adding water to blend or lifting color directly from the pencil, you can fill a page without worrying about staying within the lines.
Due to the high demand for our programs, Creativebug Take-and-Make kits will be held for five library business days after the event pickup date for registered patrons. After this time, the kits will be offered to patrons on the wait list.
Baby Cafe
The Baby Café is a place for moms and pregnant women to receive one-on-one as well as peer-to-peer support during their breastfeeding journey. A lactation consultant is available as well.
Take-and-Make 3D Sticker Scene Book for Adults
This 3D sticker scene collection book includes 25 sticker sheet themes ranging from supermarket, bedroom, study, castle, store, amusement park, bakery, and more!
Stop by the the Elisabeth Lahti Library in Indiantown to pick up your craft. Registration is required.
Drop-in American Mahjong
An open game play for players of all levels with an understanding of the basics.
The National Mahjong League current card and rules will be used for a 3- to 4-handed play. Bring a current card and set if you have one.
Computing Basics
This class is for users with no computer experience.
You will learn the basic components that make up a personal computer, what the desktop is, how to open programs, and you’ll get extensive practice using the mouse to navigate around the computer.

Learn about some of the core ideas and concepts behind Artificial Intelligence (AI), exploring some of its most exciting applications and opportunities!
Intro to the Cricut
Want to learn how to use the Cricut? Join us for this in-person tutorial.
You'll get hands-on experience learning the basics, including finding a design, navigating the software interface, and loading a mat.

Teen Game Night
If you are a teen who loves gaming, drop by the Exploration Lab for a fun gaming night with the Nintendo Switch and board games.
For ages 11 and up.
Trivia Night
Join us for a fun-filled evening where you can put your knowledge to the test.
There will be several rounds of questions as well as a half-time challenge and a final trivia question. Teams can be no larger than 5 members.
Weekly Cribbage Game
Join us for a weekly cribbage game at the library. Hearts and Spades card games are also available to play based on attendance. All levels welcome.
Virtual Author Talk with Paula J. Johnson
Join us as we look at the legacy of Julia Child with Smithsonian curator and historian Paula J. Johnson, author of Julia Child's Kitchen: The Design, Tools, Stories, and Legacy of an Iconic Space.
Join us for live virtual author talks each month featuring a one-hour interview with a bestselling author and a professional moderator. Questions are a mixture of those prepared by the moderator and those submitted by participants prior to and during the event. All virtual events are available for replay.
