Colonial Florida, Part 2 (1701-1821) by Josh Liller

Are you ready for another fascinating lecture? Join our favorite local historian for the second of a four-part series.

Over the span of 120 years, Florida was rocked by numerous wars and multiple changes in governance, culminating in annexation by the United States. These conflicts between the Spanish, British, and Americans saw the destruction of the original tribes and the rise of the people we know today as the Seminoles and Miccosukees. Explore this little-known part of Florida's history. This event is sponsored by the Friends of the Martin County Library System, Inc.
