Code Enforcement Magistrate Hearing

This meeting is televised live on MCTV Channel 20 (Comcast), on Channel 99 (U-verse), and online at www.martin.fl.us/watch-mctv.

The Code Enforcement Division receives complaints from a variety of sources including citizens, businesses, staff members, and outside agencies. Staff inspects and investigates complaints to see if violation of County Code exists then begin taking appropriate steps to achieve compliance.  These steps can be either an informal and/or formal process. Cases that are not voluntarily brought into compliance may be presented to a Special Magistrate at a formal public hearing.

Selection Committee Meeting (SHORTLIST) for a Public- Private Partnership (P3) for a Public Facility

A Selection Committee will meet to discuss submittals received in response to the Request for Qualifications (R F Q 2026 - 3734) for Public-Private Partnership (P3) for a Public Facility. The Committee will meet for approximately one hour in the BOCC Workshop Room on the 4th floor of the Martin County Administration Center, located at 2401 SE Monterey Road, Stuart, Florida.

Library Board of Trustees Meeting

The Library Board of Trustees shall have the following duties, functions, and responsibilities: To serve in an advisory capacity to the Board of County Commissioners and the County Administration through the Library Director; should the Library Director position become vacant, the County Administrator will provide the Trustees with the top three candidates being considered, their application and resumes.  The County Administrator will solicit comments from the Trustees on each of the candidates and discuss possible rankings of the candidates prior to making a final determination.  The final decision will be the responsibility of the County Administrator with confirmation by the Board of County Commissioners.  Develop library policy with the advice and counsel of the library director, especially concerning library hours, book selection, use of meeting rooms, etc.  Make continuing studies of all existing and future needs of the County in respect to public facilities and services.  Review the financial position of the library system and make reports and submit recommendations regarding sound and feasible budget financing.  Keep constantly aware of public library standards, trends, regulations, and legislation.  Formulate or recommend actions to raise the quality of service and utilization of financial assistance from state, national, and other sources.
