Airport Noise Advisory Committee Meeting

Airport Noise Advisory Committee
The Committee was created pursuant to the recommendation of the Part 150 Noise Study Planning Advisory Team. The Committee shall have the duty and responsibility to make recommendations to the Board of County Commissioners concerning the implementation of the operational and land use mitigation measures adopted in the Federal Aviation Regulation Part 150 Study.

Take-and-Make: Earth Day Flowerpots

Join us as we celebrate Earth Day! Pick up Earth Day Craft Kit at the Elisabeth Lahti Library. This Earth Day craft is a lovely way to add a little beauty to our planet, by coloring the changeable inserts inside this flowerpots.  Adult supervision required. Registration required. Tween Tie-Dye

Get your tie-dye on at the Blake Library outdoor courtyard! Bring a shirt or other item to transform with this age old dying technique. We'll provide everything else you need but be sure to bring your imagination!  Registration required. Recommended for tweens ages 8 and up. Paws To Read Session I

Children have fun reading to trained therapy dogs. Readers gain confidence and improve their reading fluency. The PAWS to Read program is a partnership with the Humane Society of the Treasure Coast. The recommended age for participation is 7 - 12 years. The participants must bring a book with them to each session to read to the dog. Registration is required. Registration is for April 1, 8, 15, 22. This event will take place at the Peter & Julie Cummings Library Pavilion.

Always been curious about Dungeons & Dragons? Or looking for a group to play with? Begin your new adventure virtually through the library! We will be playing the new adventure Icewind Dale: Rime of the Frostmaiden. 

Icewind Dale: Rime of the Frostmaiden is a tale of dark terror that revisits the forlorn, flickering candlelight of civilization known as Ten-Towns and sheds light on the many bone-chilling locations surround these frontier settlements.

Board of Zoning Adjustment Meeting

The Board of Zoning Adjustment is a seven-member board appointed by the Board of County Commissioners.   The Board Zoning Adjustment grant variances to dimensional requirements (setbacks), along with other requirements as defined in Section 9.5 of the Land Development Regulations.  The Board of Zoning Adjustment may meet on the fourth Thursday of the month.  The Board of Zoning Adjustment’s secretary to the Board, records and prepares minutes that can be obtained in the Growth Management Department.
