A Brief History of the Annual New Monrovia Bahamian Connection Festival

A pictorial display of former festivals, arts & crafts of Bahamian culture, videos of the One Room School house, interviews of former students who attended, and the one and only teacher of forty years, Mrs. Costella Williams. In addition, find out more information about this year’s festival will be held at New Monrovia Park, Port Salerno on October 5. Visit the display from Sept. 16 - 20 and Sept. 23 - 27.

STEAM Sunday

Create, build, code, play with robots and technology using STEM Kits. Geared towards grades K-5. The STEM Kit is a Tyler STEM kit made possible by a generous donation from Clare and Molly Tyler to the Library Foundation of Martin County. This endowment enhances all STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) events throughout the Martin County Library System with the hopes of inspiring the future generation to pursue excellence in one of the STEM fields. Registration required.
