Growth Management is responsible for planning and development services for unincorporated Martin County.
Zoning Desk & Building Permit Consultation Hours:
All customers must check in with security located in the main lobby of the Martin County Administrative building.
- Monday: 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
- Tuesday: 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
- Wednesday: 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
- Friday: 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Thursdays 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Only for: Customers submitting completed zoning review compliance determination forms to obtain the following:
- A business tax receipt
- Beer/wine license
- Itinerant merchant permit
- Promotional sign permit
Staff available on Thursdays by appointment only:
- Environmental and Development Review
- Comprehensive Planning
Document Drop-offs
Applications or other documents being dropped off may be left with security in the main lobby of the Administrative Center between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Items will be routed to the Growth Management Department. Receipts will be mailed or emailed.
Monthly Staff Meeting Notice
The department holds a full staff meeting on the second Monday of each month from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Staff are unavailable during this time.
