The Martin County Parks & Recreation department offers "X-Treme Teen" events hosted by the Teen Advisory Board. "X-Treme Teen" events are safe, supervised and free for middle school and high school students in Martin County and are funded through the Children's Services Council of Martin County. Past events include a Back to School Bash, Bowling and Trivia Night, Dodgeball Tournament and more.

The Teen Advisory Board (TAB) is a group of Martin County middle school and high schools students who meet every other Monday from 6 to 7 PM (during the school year only) in the Growth Management Conference Room located at 2401 SE Monterey Road in Stuart to discuss and plan teen events as well as local and national fundraisers all while having fun!

Join the Teen Advisory Board:

To join the Teen Advisory Board, click on "Teen Advisory Board Application" on the sidebar. Fill out and submit the form using the listed instructions. All Martin County teens in middle school and high school are encourage to join the Teen Advisory Board and can serve on the Board until the conclusion of their senior year of high school, if interested. Currently, there is no "election process" or "term requirement" for joining the Board and all are encouraged to sign up. By holding a position on the Teen Advisory Board (TAB), members are required to attend the bi-weekly meetings (during the school year only) at 2401 SE Monterey Road in Stuart.

Martin County Parks and Recreation also has a "Volunteens" program for middle school and high school students under 16 years of age. The "Volunteens" program is a volunteer program assisting the summer camps organized by Martin County Parks and Recreation.
