Commission Meetings

The Martin County Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) meets in regular session throughout the year on scheduled Tuesdays at 9 a.m., in the Commission Chambers at 2401 SE Monterey Road in Stuart.

Time is set aside for public comment on items not included on the agenda at the beginning and end of all regular commission meetings. Time is also allotted for public comment on each item on the agenda.

How to Make a Public Comment

Beginning Tuesday, February 2, 2021: The public can provide comment using Zoom Meeting by phone. If you wish to comment, please use the Raise Hand function (*9 on your phone keypad). At the appropriate time to speak, you will be recognized by your partial phone number or your Zoom username and staff will unmute your connection.

You will be asked to state your name for record, just as if you were attending the meeting in person. Be sure to turn down the sound of your TV or computer audio if participating to avoid feedback/echoing.

To join using Zoom by phone, call one of the numbers below:

The Meeting ID is: 988 8770 4252
The Password is: 2920

To make a public comment in person, participants must fill out a Request to Speak Form at the meeting and give it to the bailiff. Speakers are limited to three (3) minutes for each public comment section. All public comments must comply with the BOCC's adopted Rules of Procedure.

  • The Request to Speak Form for general public comments must be submitted before the meeting begins.
  • The Request to Speak Form for individual agenda items must be submitted prior to the start of the public comments portion of that item.
