About Phipps Park Campground
Maintained and operated by Martin County Parks and Recreation, Phipps Park Campground sits along the Okeechobee Waterway and is a 55-acre conservation and campground area. Phipps Park has traditional campsites with picnic tables and fire rings as well as 24 RV sites with electric, water and a dump station.
Phipps Park Campground provides great opportunity to enjoy fresh and/or saltwater fishing and is open year round. Campers also appreciate the waterfront view that many of our sites provide.
What experience can be more magical than sleeping outdoors and under the stars? New in 2020, Phipps Park Campground now has 19 new waterfront Adventure Tents!
Enjoy waking up to the sights and sounds of nature in one of the most beautiful campgrounds. Just bring your pillow and sleeping bag and we'll provide a tent. Our tents have insect protection screens, sturdy canvas, and all sites open up to a view of the water. You can also grill at your site and have your own campfire.
Adventure Tents include:
- Picnic table
- 10x10 canvas tent
- Waterfront views
When planning your stay in our Adventure Tents, please consider the following:
There is no vehicle access to the sites. We provide complimentary wagons to assist with the transfer of your belongings from the parking lot to the tent site (this is a short one-minute walk across a bridge). There is also no electricity currently available at the sites, so make sure that your equipment is battery or solar powered.
