About

The Patio at Palm City Place is located at 3290 SW Mapp Road in Palm City and features multi-functional outdoor space, which can host community events, concerts, and pop-up markets, serving as a central hub where residents can gather, connect, and experience various entertainment offerings.

The space also encourages outdoor enjoyment with scenic walking paths, a newly constructed fishing pier extending into the nearby stormwater treatment areas, and green zones for recreation.

There are no public restrooms at this location.

Reserving & Utilizing the Patio

To ensure the needs of all County residents are met, Martin County Parks and Recreation will use the following priorities in the issuance of reservation permits.

  1. Martin County Parks and Recreation Department and Martin County Board of County Commissioners operated or contracted programs
  2. Permitted Special Events
  3. General public use / open space use

What qualifies as a Special Event?

Any pre-planned entertainment, sporting, cultural, business, or other type of unique activity, including parades, festivals, races, tournaments, concerts, etc., presented to a live audience and open to the public that is to be held in whole or in part upon property owned or managed by the County and that may substantially inhibit the usual flow of pedestrian or vehicular travel or which deviates from the established use of the place or building.

Special Event Reservation Process

  1. Check the Patio at Palm City Place Calendar for date availability

  2. Complete the Special Event Permitting Process

What qualifies as General Public Use / Open Space Use?

When not reserved, the Patio at Palm City Place is available to use on a first-come, first-served basis. No fees, sales, or charging for services/products are permitted during general public use / open space use. This area is a public open space and must remain accessible to the general public. If use is determined by County staff to be a “Special Event” (see above), a Special Event permit may be required.
