Improvements at Charlie Leighton Park are underway. During construction, the park and boat ramps will be closed through summer 2026. The Palm City Community Center, Palm City Chamber of Commerce, restrooms and Treasure Coast Rowing Club will remain open with limited parking.
Major improvements include:
- New boat ramp
- Expanded car and trailer parking
- Additional docks
- Picnic areas, green space and gazebo
- Enhanced pedestrian access under the bridge
- Expansion of the crew/rowing building site
Alternative boat ramps: Sandsprit Park, Jensen Beach Boat Ramp, Stuart Causeway & Jensen Beach Causeway.
