IMPROVEMENTS AT CHARLIE LEIGHTON PARK

As construction starts, the park and boat ramps will be closed from September 2 through summer 2026. The Palm City Community Center, Palm City Chamber of Commerce, restrooms and Treasure Coast Rowing Club will remain open with limited parking.

Major improvements include:

New boat ramp
Expanded car and trailer parking
Additional docks
Picnic areas, green space and gazebo
Enhanced pedestrian access under the bridge
Expansion of the crew/rowing building site

Alternative boat ramps: Sandsprit Park, Jensen Beach Boat Ramp, Stuart Causeway & Jensen Beach Causeway.

Skate Park Improvement Project

Improvements are coming to the skate park at Mary Brogan Park.

Mary Brogan Park – The skate park will be closed from Monday, March 30th through Monday, April 13th, for the removal and replacement of existing skate ramps.

During this closure, skaters may use Jock Leighton Skate Park located at 3755 SW Mapp Road in Palm City and Pat Mark Rio-Jensen Skate Park located at Langford Park, 2151 NE Dixie Highway in Jensen Beach.
