About 

Martin County Ocean Rescue provides protection and response to emergencies at Martin County's four guarded beaches. Beaches are staffed 365 days a year with EMT/Ocean Lifeguards.

To listen to daily pre-recorded information on the beaches such as beach closure notices, tide times, surf and weather forecasts, and the number of lifeguard towers open for the day, call Martin County's Beach Information Hotline at (772) 320-3112. Lifeguards are on duty when conditions flag is displayed on lifeguard tower.

Guarded Beaches

BATHTUB BEACH – Currently closed for dune reinforcement

HOBE SOUND BEACH
1 SE Beach Road, Hobe Sound

JENSEN BEACH
4191 NE Ocean Boulevard, Jensen Beach 
North tower: 10:00 a.m. – 4:45 p.m.
Central tower: 10:00 a.m. – 4:55 p.m.
South tower: 10:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

STUART BEACH
889 NE Ocean Boulevard, Stuart
North tower: 10:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
South tower: 10:00 a.m. – 4:55 p.m.

Rolling Beach Wheelchairs

Rolling beach wheelchairs are available for free use at all Martin County guarded beach locations including Hobe Sound Beach, Stuart Beach and Jensen Beach.

These light all-terrain chairs allow people with a wide variety of limitations to enjoy the beauty of our coastal areas. Lifeguards will assist residents and visitors, just ask at the guard towers.
