About

The Martin County Community Action Coalition (MCCAC) is a group of community members, from all corners of the county, coming together to help support efforts to reduce substance use and promote mental health. MCCAC was born from a group of concerned citizens who wanted to make Martin County an even healthier and happier place to live.

The formal coalition was created in 2020 after a great deal of data collection and strategic development. Shortly after, we received funding from the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), which propelled the coalition forward in working towards community goals.

MISSION

Providing Martin County residents with the tools, education and support needed to ensure a mentally, emotionally, and physically healthy community.

VISION

A Martin County where all youth are empowered and have the skills needed to succeed. Where community members are supported, free of stigma and have access to necessary resources.

How We Do It

By engaging 12 sectors of the community, we develop and implement strategies designed to inform, educate, and support all Martin County families. Through education and information, we support all residents in their efforts to live in a drug-free community.
