Hobe Sound Library closure

Closed from May 15 to late August to bring you a refreshed library!

In preparation for exciting facility upgrades, the Hobe Sound Public Library will close on May 15, 2024. Renovations will last approximately 3 months and include:

  • Furnishing, lighting, and restroom updates
  • One new study room for a total of two
  • Community Room audio-visual equipment enhancements
  • Young Adult & idea lab square footage expansion
  • Children’s Room enclosure

Holds pick-up services will be available at Hobe Sound Clerk of the Court office, 11730 SE Federal Highway in the Island Crossing Shopping Plaza, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. (closed lunchtime, 12:00 - 1:00 p.m.).

Select library events, including Summer Reading Programming, will be scheduled at Hobe Sound Civic Center, 8980 SE Olympus Street in Zeus Park. View the library event calendar for details.

Hobe Sound Public Library book drops will remain open for item returns. Library patrons are encouraged to visit any of the other Martin County Library System locations (closest in proximity being Robert Morgade Library, 5851 SE Community Drive in Stuart).
