The Martin County Library System’s STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Mathematics) & Story Express Kits have been developed to help foster children’s literacy skills and improve their chances for academic success through reading, story-telling, music, and related activities. Each STEAM kit comes with different themed activities and books that take learning to a whole new level.
Kits can be checked out and used by parents and caretakers as well as teachers, schools, childcare facilities and others involved with early childhood and STEAM education.
Story Express Kits are funded through the Story Express Funds of Martin County Community Foundation and supported by the Friends of the Martin County Library System.
STEAM Kits are made possible by a generous donation from Clare and Molly Tyler to The Library Foundation of Martin County, Inc. and in collaboration with UF/IFAS Extension 4H, Florida Sea Grant, and Martin County.
