Bathtub Beach closed until further notice

February 13, 2023 – Significant erosion at Bathtub Reef Beach continues to cause ongoing changes to the shoreline. Because of the erosion, the lifeguard towers will be pulled from the beach and the beach will be closed until further notice.

Martin County has three other guarded beaches - Jensen Beach, Stuart Beach and Hobe Sound Beach, as well as many other smaller beaches along the coastline. Beachgoers are always encouraged to swim near a lifeguard and be water safe.
