Music & Motion

It’s a fact that children love music and movement. Join us for some musical activities that provide exercise, motor development and FUN!!! All ages welcome.

Registration required: When registering you must include every person who will be attending in your group, including adults.

For the health and safety of all visitors, face coverings are required and a limited number of patrons will be admitted at a time to allow for 6-foot social distancing. Face coverings exemptions include children either under the age of six (6) or in the custody of a licensed childcare facility, including schools, summer camps and daycare centers. Story Time 0-4 yrs.

Martin County's children's librarians love to read but they also love to sing and dance. According to Every Child Ready to Read @ Your Library, singing, talking, and playing are also important for developing early literacy skills.
Registration is limited and required.

Due to Covid-19 social distancing requirements, the second Storytime of each month is a repeat of the first one.

Virtual Gentle Yoga with Laura

Join Laura for a 45 minute virtual class to ground, center, and reconnect with yourself. Class includes accessible, gentle movement (seated and/or standing) to improve strength and mobility, as well as breathing and other techniques to calm the mind and settle the body. You are welcome to participate from a chair or the floor. You don’t need to be strong, or flexible, or have any special body or equipment— all bodies are welcome!

American Red Cross presents: The Pillowcase Project-The Virtual Edition

The Pillowcase Project is a national youth preparedness program that increases youth awareness of hazards and the importance of personal preparedness. It builds skills in hazard-specific protective actions to reduce the impact of emergencies on youth and their families. Youth will Increase coping skills, build resilience and increase household preparedness (and have a little fun). The pillowcase art and workbooks will be available digitally from a downloadable link. 

This virtual workshop is geared for 2nd Grade to 6th Grade. 

Registration with an Email Required. Registration deadline is June 24th, 2021 at 3 PM.
