On display will be the conceptual designs for the Ripple project.  This project provides the opportunity to reconnect the Old Palm City neighborhood with the St. Lucie River at four distinct sites using a series of artist and community designed elements to create new stormwater treatment areas.

Free Tours at The Mansion at Tuckahoe

Tour the inside of the beautiful and historic Mansion at Tuckahoe!

Located at Indian Riverside Park in Jensen Beach, tours run at 10 a.m. and 11 a.m. every first and third Wednesday, from September through May.

These docent-led tours are FREE.

Preschool Explorations

This program is for children aged 3-5 and is designed to help participants get ready for kindergarten.  It is for children and their parent or caregiver and will include center-based activities as well as whole group activities.  Activities will be hands-on and kinesthetic and will teach colors, numbers, beginning math concepts, science, and the alphabet.

Crafternoon @ Cummings: Flowers

Join us for an afternoon of adult arts and crafts.  Spring is in the air!  This month we'll be recycling and repurposing paper and fabric scraps into flowers. All materials provided.  Adult coloring supplies are always available at Crafternoon as well. Just bring your imagination!

Crafternoon @ Cummings happens on the 3rd Wednesday of most months at 2 pm with a mix of new and some recurring activities.

Library Board of Trustees Meeting

The Library Board of Trustees shall have the following duties, functions, and responsibilities: To serve in an advisory capacity to the Board of County Commissioners and the County Administration through the Library Director as follows:

Should the Library Director position become vacant, the County Administrator will provide the Trustees with the top three candidates being considered, their application and resumes. The County Administrator will solicit comments from the Trustees on each of the candidates and discuss possible rankings of the candidates prior to making a final determination. The final decision will be the responsibility of the County Administrator with confirmation by the Board of County Commissioners.

Develop library policy with the advice and counsel of the library director, especially concerning library hours, book selection, use of meeting rooms, etc.

Make continuing studies of all existing and future needs of the County in respect to public facilities and services.

Review the financial position of the library system and make reports and submit recommendations regarding sound and feasible budget financing.
