Kids Coding @ Cummings
Using Google's CS First curriculum, this 8-week Coding Club is designed for youth ages 9-14. We'll learn Scratch, a block-based programming language designed for beginners with each week offering a new lesson. Laptops will be provided, but students are invited to bring their own. Students should be able to attend most sessions, October 8 - November 26.
The event is made possible by a generous donation from Clare and Molly Tyler to the Library Foundation of Martin County. This endowment enhances all STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) events throughout the Martin County Library System with the hopes of inspiring the future generation to pursue excellence in one of the STEM fields.
