Elisabeth Lahti idea lab
The idea lab at Indiantown’s Elisabeth Lahti Library opened in July 2016. Its robotics-themed kits encourage hands-on exploration of Science, Technology, Public Works, and Math (STEM). Like the other idea labs, it also includes creative software, encouraging its multi-generational community to come together and collaborate on music, movie-making, photo-editing, or just playing around.
Most popular to its thriving teen community, the Lahti idea lab has a PS4, where patrons engage, explore, and interact with each other, as well as their digital futures with gamification.
The Lahti idea lab also offers life skills resources such as Rosetta Stone language learning and a driving simulator.
