1. How do I reserve and rent a Parks Facility?
The Martin County Parks & Recreation Department has many Resources and Athletic Facilities available on a reservation basis. Facilities available include: Picnic Pavilions, Community Centers, Ball fields, a Horse Arena, and Open Space Areas. Reservations can not be made online; however you can check availability online at EConnect. To make a reservation, please complete an application & call 288-5690. Please note, fees may apply for reservations of certain parks amenities.

2. How do I reserve the Community Centers?
Please check availability of the facility you are interested in at E-Connect, then call the Recreation Coordinators - Community Center Listings Page.  A completed Special Event Application is required for all reservations.

3. Are there barbecue grills at the pavilions?
Majority of our parks have grills.

4. Do you have to be a resident of Martin County to reserve a Pavilion?
Our facilities are open to everyone; however, resident and non-resident rates apply.

5. May I have a band at our picnic?
Amplified Music is allowed at most, but NOT all parks when proper permits have been obtained. Please contact the Parks & Recreation Department (288-5690) for additional information on where amplified music is allowed and how to obtain a permit.

6. Is there a community pool?
Sailfish Splash Waterpark has an Olympic size swimming pool available for public use. Hours and pricing may be found at www.sailfishsplash.com

7. What Parks can we camp overnight?

Phipps Park allows both primitive and RV overnight camping.  Please look at the Phipps Park brochure for more information.
To make a reservation, please contact the Park Manager at 287-6565 for more information.

Halpatiokee Regional Park and Allapattah Flats Wildlife Management Area have primitive campgrounds.
To make a reservation for Halpatiokee please contact 288-5690.
Reservations are not required for Allapattah.

9. Do I need a skate card to use the County Skate Parks?
Yes - The cost is $15.00. For more information call 288-5690. Skate cards can be purchased at the Parks & Recreation Department.
